A School Licence is a multi-user subscription to a PLD resource, such as a book or program, in a digital and printable format that is available on all devices including desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones. A School Licence is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and can be used by an unlimited amount of teachers within a school.

Who should purchase the School Licence?
We highly recommend that either the Principal, Deputy Principal or a member of the admin team purchase the School Licence in order to manage the account and its users. The account buyer will be responsible for purchasing licenses via credit card, and for managing who has access to the paid resources.
How do I add a teacher to a School Licence?
Go to https://pld-literacy.org/my-account/#my-subscriptions and click on the “Send Invite” tab. Enter the email addresses of staff members you would like to share license access with. After entering the email addresses (1 email address per line), click the “Send Invitation” button. Invited users will receive an email invitation and by clicking on the “Accept Invitation” button, they will be able to create an account on the PLD website and have access to all resources under the School
How do I purchase a School Licence?
Purchasing a School Licence is as easy as it sounds. Follow the quick steps below. Click on the resource and select the “School Licence” tab at the top right of the page. Then click, “Add to Cart”. Can I print out copies of the digital versions?
All PLD resources are covered by Australian Copyright law, and the same standard restrictions apply to products purchased as a School License as it does for printed books, which you can read more about here. Can I store a school licensed resource on my school’s server?
School licensed programs (digital versions of resources) are stored in a secure account within PLD’s website. When you purchase a license, you will be prompted to create an account. It is in this account where you will be able to access your paid licensed programs. They cannot be downloaded and saved to a school’s server. Being cloud-based, the resources can be accessed from anywhere, on any device by any of the school staff you grant permission to.

How do I remove a teacher from a School Licence?
Go to https://pld-literacy.org/my-account/#my-subscriptions and click on the “Manage Invites” tab. Locate the email address of the user you would like to remove and click the 'x' icon next to their email address. Once the email address has been removed from this list, the user will no longer have access to any of the School License resources that have been purchased on the school’s licensing account. Can I share my School Licence with teachers from other schools?
No - schools licences are designed only to be used by a single school. Sharing access to PLD school licensed resources with anyone who is not employed by the school that owns the license, may result in termination of the license and/or legal action being taken. Learn more about this topic.
Can I print school licenced products?
The main purpose of school licences is to allow multiple (or all) staff at a school to view the resources on their devices, whether a computer, tablet or phone. Purchasing a school licence does allow the resources to be printed, however the standard copyright guidelines still apply, which limits reproduction to 10% per person per year.
