What is the difference between the online courses and the seminars in the PLD training rooms?


Both the online courses and the training room semiars will equip you to implement PLD's structured synthetic phonics in the classroom.
  • The online courses are shorter. They typically amount to 2 1/2 hours, however the seminars run between 9 am and 3 pm offer 4 1/2-5 hours of presenting time.
  • The seminars will facilitate dialogue and the opportunity to ask questions.


The main difference (in addition to the extended length of presentation time for the seminars) is that the seminars also cover oral langauge instruction and the online courses only the PLD literacy based instruction.
