Oops! I have added Term 4 EXIT TESTING to the previous year's tracking sheet, rather than the new school year tracking sheet! What do I do?
- If choosing to present the EXIT TEST at the end of Term 4 (as typically recommended only in the first year and for schools seeking to utilise the pupil-free day for planning), then this should be placed on a 2026 tracking sheet, not a previous school year tracking sheet.
- As a rule, EXIT TESTING is for the next school year that you are preparing for.
- As a rule, PLD does not recommend adding end-of-term 4 data to your annual tracking sheets. You can read more about this here: https://support.pld-literacy.org/en-au/article/term-4-end-of-year-assessments-are-they-required-how-to-finish-the-school-year-vmgvum/
- Action 1 to be taken: Request 2026 tracking sheets here: https://pld-literacy.org/plds-tracking-sheets/
Transfer the student names and results to the 2026 tracking sheet.
This should only take 30 minutes and needs to be completed before teachers return and start to commence their planning.
- Action 2 to be taken: Staff need to view and follow ALL of the steps outlined in the tracking sheet videos. None of the classes has completed the process in full. The videos are located here: https://pld-literacy.org/maintain-strong-implementation-of-plds-programs/#:~:text=Are%20You%20Using%20the%20PLD%20Tracking%20Sheets%20Effectively%3F
The models of finalised tracking sheets are placed in all downloadable manuals: https://pld-literacy.org/pld-catalogue-request/
Unfortunately, PLD does not provide feedback until tracking sheets are set up correctly (point 1) and until the tracking sheet instructions and processes have been completed in full ( point 2)
Please address the points above, and if you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to schedule a session for further support through the home page bookign system.
