My school has been implementing PLD for a while, but how do we start using the tracking sheets?

Step 1: Register for the PLD tracking sheets using this link: https://pld-literacy.org/plds-tracking-sheets/
  • You will receive instructions on the first tab READ THIS FIRST, which outlines how to set up the sheets.
Step 2: Teachers will need to complete the placement tests for whichever term you wish to commence. Step 3: Teachers need to not only enter the percentage scores from the placement tests, but they need to establish an implementation plan and three targeted teaching groups for their class.
  • Step 4: Many teachers express that they are not strong with EXCEL/Google Sheets. Below is a short training video

    • Early Years and Foundation are to implement the first two functions.
    • Year 1-6 are to implement all three functions.


    Step 5: Once established, PLD can offer support with the tracking sheets. Below is a form that needs to be completed when requesting support with the tracking sheets:


    Step 6: It is likely that if the school has been implementing PLD for some time, that a training update is required. You may wish to consider the online courses or a short staff meeting session.
