End of Term Screening: Establishing Groups For The Next Term
FAQ 1: We are preparing for the end of term review. We anticipate that some students will move up or down groups. Can you provide advice?
* Tip 1: When moving into a new term, remove the previous description of the term's teaching plan. For example when setting up the groups for Term 3, make sure the Term 1 and Term 2 have been removed. Keep in mind, that the information is still there, beause the cells are colour coded in Term 1 and Term 2 according to what was tragtede and taught. Definitely remove the descriptions.
* Tip 2: Know that the groupings for the next term WILL CHANGE. Some students will progress up a stage/group. Other students will be dropped to a lower stage/group. Sometimes a whole group will progress up. This means that when moving to a new term, the previous term's groupings will be impacted.
* Tip 3: HIDE the previous term results, and focus on the more recent results. Establish your teaching plan on the most recent results. If you do not know how to HIDE columns, view this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocEc9jplkMc&list=PLaxKqPSrwOUZccbF_QzR3AAiGaHdJCq_m
