Sharing Kits? Why teachers do not need to share and only require ONE Integrated SSP Kit? Why access to more than one Kit is not needed

Some teachers express the need to access multiple PLD Integrated SSP Kits. However, this is not required.

The SSP KITS should contain the Term 1, 2, 3 and 4 programs as well as catch-up programs required. A single kit per year level (or composite class) is what PLD recommends.

Even if a composite class, the classroom teacher only requires one SSP Kit; the upper year level kit.
  • If a Year 1/2 class - the Year 2 SSP KIT is recommended.
  • If a Year 3/4 class - the Year 4 SSP KIT is recommended.
  • If a Year 5/6 class - the Year 6 SSP KIT is recommended.
  • If a Year P/1 class - the Year 1 SSP KIT is recommended with some additional Term 1 Foudnation teaching programs: https://pld-literacy.org/product/pre-literacy-flip-books/
When students test above their year level (or stage), classroom teachers still only require the one kit. Below the Term 4 programs is the PLD position and the associated challenge tasks.

For students operating below age-appropriate levels, still only one SSP KIT is typically required, as the kits provide up to 4 stages of catch-up programs.

In Year 4-6 SSP KITs, there is a statement of advice for the significantly delayed. Below is an example of the Year 4 SSP KIT message

I am hoping that your staff have viewed the updates to the SSP Kits: https://pld-literacy.org/important-updates-to-my-ssp-kit-online/  The video on the top right hand corner is particularly useful.
