Can part-time or job-sharing teachers share digital access to an SSP Kit? How do we organise additional access code?

Yes, but with some conditions that are detailed below.

The purchase of PLD's SSP Kits includes digital access to resources for use in a single classroom. Where there is a job-share arrangement and 2 teachers are teaching in the same classroom, access to the digital components of the SSP Kit can be provided to an additional teacher by following the steps below:

  1. Go to https://pld-literacy.org/ssp-shared-resources/ and submit the form with the required details.
  2. Once this form has been submitted, PLD staff will verify the request, confirming that the requested additional access codes are valid and correspond with previously purchased SSP Kits.
  3. Once verified, an order will be generated for the eligible number of digital access codes requested and sent to the email address associated with the initial order. This is to prevent fraudulent requests for additional user codes. Once this order has been paid for (there is a $40 admin charge per code), digital access codes will be generated and sent via email, which can then be redeemed by the additional user(s) at https://pld-literacy.org/sspkits/.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • There is a $40 admin charge per digital access code.
  • Any access code granted will remain valid until December 31st of the current year. If teachers will again be job-sharing the following year, a new request, per the steps detailed above, will need to be submitted.
  • Schools will need to confirm that the SSP Kit is being used in a single classroom shared by 2 teachers.
  • A maximum of 1 additional access code can be provided per purchased SSP Kit.
  • Any users found to be in breach of these terms and conditions (e.g. sharing access across multiple classrooms or with users from other schools) may have access revoked for the initial user and any subsequent users who were granted access, and no refund will be provided.
