Our school is considering the SSP KITS. What are the benefits of the INTEGRATED SSP KITS above the School Licences?

School licences are not an integrated resource, but the 'Integrated' SSP Kits are.

With a school licence, teachers still need to spend time creating their PPT's and integrating the Phonic Dictation with the Time-Savers Lists, often integrating multiple books.
The Integrated SSP Kits provide access to resources for the current year level and many Catch-Up programs for the stage/s below. Below is a sample for a Year 5/6 class using a Stage 6 SSP Kit to access materials from Stage 6, Stage 5 and Stage 4, all pre-prepared. Opening the digital materials on multiple tabs is all that is required, as the lists and the passages are integrated.

Finally, there is a vocabulary aspect that you don't get with the other resources - not just spell the word .... but spell the word that means ...?

The results from the SSP Kit should be superior, as vocabulary is developed systematically alongside reading and spelling the word.

FAQ: A teacher asked what PLD means by 'streamlined'? Do you mean everything within the one document rather than going through 3 different books.

Yes! The SSP Kit process is more integrated! At the moment, using the non-integrated resources requires cross-referencing and accessing multiple resources.
Years ago, we did not have the intergrated and streamlined offering. Now we do, and are keen to see as many schools as possible to start using them.
The Kits are by far our strongest offering.
