How can a Relief Teacher access SSP Kits?

Suggested Solution - Transfer SSP Kit access to the relief teacher (2-minute task)

When a relief teacher is covering a class, it is recommended that the relief teacher ‘transfers access’ from the current teacher to the relief teacher for the period of coverage (e.g. day, week, fortnight, month). This is a quick process, and instructions are detailed below:

  • Step 1: Create a PLD website account here. If you already have a PLD website account, proceed to Step 2.

  • Step 2: Locate the Integrated SSP KIT box within the classroom. Inside the cover of the manual is a digital access code.
  • Step 3: With your PLD Website account now set up, navigate to https://pld-literacy.org/sspkits/#redemption, and enter the digital access code from the inside cover of the manual.

  • Step 4: Once entered, the following window will be displayed. Click 'Transfer to my account' to complete the process.

Upon the return of the classroom teacher, transfer access back to the classroom teacher (1-minute task)

  • When the classroom teacher returns they should repeat steps 2-4 to reclaim access to the kit.
