Comprehension Questions: I purchased picture books not on the actual program list. What can I do?
Situation 1: Did you use a download sheet?
Please note that the download sheet does explain that it should not be used as the source for the programs (i.e. Comprehension Questions or Picture Book Retelling)

- The previous edition is likely 5+ years old, and in the world of publishing, you likely found that many of the books are either out of print or close to going out of print.
- Our recommendation is always, wait until the program arrives, then reference the book list within that program. I too am frustrated with keeping up with the books available for purchase. This also makes it complicated for PLD maintaining booklists for schools. However, know we only change when absolutely necessary. The updates are not a regular occurrence.
I apologise for this situation.
Your likely course of action is the use the updated cards where you can, for the books in the older edition as well as the updated edition. For those titles that are only in the older edition, use the previous cards. In this way, all books puirchased can still be used with either the older or newer edition.
That is all I can suggest. I hope this information assists.
