Where do I find handwriting sequences in the PLD program?

PLD's Structured Synthetic Phonics (SSP) alphabet letter of presentation order is matched with the letter formation order. In this way, when learning the alphabet sounds students are simultaneously learning to write the alphabet sounds. Therefore, the letter formation sequence is found alongside the acquisition of phonic concepts in the Teaching Sequence Manuals.

The Pre - Writing Patterns (Term 1) and Letter Formation (Term 2, 3 & 4) columns in the Early Years Teaching Sequence, guides the formation of these skills

In the Foundation and Year 1 & 2 (Year 1) Teacher Sequence Manuals, Letter Formation skill development can be found in the Term Summary Overviews

Both the Early Years Teacher Sequence Manual (page 6) and the Foundation Teaching Sequence Manual (page 14) contain a Movement and Motor Full Year Plan targeting letter formation learning
