What changes have been made to the TimeSavers and Phonic Dictation resources?

At PLD, we are continually updating resources. In 2022, we have made some important upgrades to the TimeSaver and Phonic Dictation resource range.

To make lists even more accessible and easy to locate, the contents pages for the three TimeSavers resources has been updated to include the phonic concepts and list number as shown:

Reference to Dictation

Additionally, the base of each word study list, the associated phonic dictation passage is now listed. Here are some examples for each of the TimeSaver resources:

Word Count

To support teachers implement fluency assessment, the dictation passages now include a word count and an assessment template for Words Read Correctly Per Minute has also been included in the phonic dictation resources for Stage 1, Stage 2 & Stage 3.
