# Decodable Reading Book Labels and the New Updates to the Labels.

| The PLD organisational labels for decodable reading books have been improved and updated

**Q: What has changed?**

**A: The colours of the labels have changed.**
For example:
* Foundation Semester 1 were purple and aqua, and now they are purple and green.
* Year 1 Semester 1 were green and yellow, and now they are yellow.

**Why?** The new version correlates to the assessment colours as outlined in the [2023 Decodable Reading Book Catalogue](https://pld-literacy.org/product/decodable-reading-books/)

**Please note:** There is nothing wrong with the older verions, you will not need to make any changes if you have already used an older version with your decodable reading book collection.
